- Walk across the room people are people who live life in 3D; they are
constantly looking for ways to:

- If we are to reflect the heart of our Father, we need to be in a search
mode, continually looking for ways to build relationships to bring
others to Christ.

- Rather than rejoicing in the sinners that were coming to Jesus or seeing
it as a good thing, the Pharisees and teachers of the law thought it was
scandalous.

- The Parable of the Lost
- Sheep – Luke 15:3-7
- God cares about lost people and every time one comes home, there’s a
party in heaven.

- Reaching the lost takes time and effort, but every time one sinner
repents, there is joy in the presence of the angels. God rejoices.

- God is watching and waiting. God
is loving and forgiving. God is
lavish in his grace.
- There’s another part to this story.
The older son was also separated from his father, not by
location, but by the attitude of his heart. He did not share his father’s love and
he could not share his father’s joy.

family?

to their story.
- When we listen to people’s stories, we discover needs that people have
and we can share the gospel and our story more effectively.
